Park Rules
The following list of rules is for the
protection of all our campers. Your cooperation will result in a more enjoyable
camping experience for everyone involved. Campers shall inform their visitors of
these rules.
Camping
Etiquette

Campers must register at the
office before entering the campground.
- One camping unit
and one car are allowed on each site.

Consideration and respect
is shown for other campers and their property.
- Quiet is observed
between the hours of 11p.m. and 8a.m.

All trash/litter is deposited in
the dumpster.
- Conserving energy
is important to all. Each electrical hook-up equals 30 amps.
- Campfires are never
left unattended and are properly extinguished. Note: firewood is available
at the campground store for a minimal charge. Deadwood may be cut with
permission and by hand-saw only.
Telephone - Mailing
- If there is an
emergency, use your cell phone and dial 911.
- For park security
after 10pm, use your cell phone and dial 508 867-7800.
- Incoming emergency
calls will be delivered as soon as we are able. All other phone messages
will be delivered at our convenience.
- All outgoing mail
accepted.

Vehicles
- The speed limit of
10mph in the park is strictly enforced for everyone's safety.
- No vehicles are
allowed through the gate after 11p.m., so cars must be parked in the
designated area outside the gate until morning.
- Mini-bikes and
motorcycles may not enter the park without prior approval of the
management.
Registered motorcycles and
licensed drivers are welcome but are limited to the road only.
- Golf carts and
snowmobiles are allowed providing a certificate of liability insurance is
on file at the Highview office.
- No minors are
allowed to drive vehicles (including golf carts) at any time inside
the campground. Minors may drive a snowmobile providing a
certificate of completion for a snowmobile safety course is on file at the
Highview office.
Visitors
- All visitors -
friends or relatives - should be pre-registered before arrival.
- On arrival,
visitors must register at the office and obtain a day or overnight pass.

- The camper host is
responsible for payment of visitor fees.
- Visitors park in
the designated area outside the gate.

Visitors are limited to one
family at a time, unless pre-approved by management.
Children
- Parents are
responsible at all times for their children.
- Children under the
age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult when using the pool.
Please note that there are NO LIFEGUARDS on duty, so swimming is at your
own risk.
- Children under the
age of 12 must wear a helmet when bike riding.

Children using the swing/slide
and playground area without parent supervision, do so at their own risk.
- Children
under the age of 17 must be on their site at 9 pm unless accompanied by an
adult.
- No bike riding is
allowed after sundown.
- No use of swings or
slides is allowed after sundown
Pets
- Pets must be on
leash at all times.
- Pets should not be
left unattended on park sites.
- Pets must be walked
by the dumpsters to relieve themselves; any waste must be picked up and
properly disposed of by the park user.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool
area.
Prohibited Items/Activities
- Fireworks, firearms of all types
and other "weapons" such as BB guns, air rifles, paint ball guns, sling
shots are strictly prohibited.
- Chainsaws are not allowed on sites
unless pre-approved by management.
- Washing of cars or camping units is
not permitted at any time.
- Clotheslines are not permitted on
park sites.
- Swimming or boating of any kind is
not permitted in the pond.
- Fishing in the pond is permitted
but is strictly catch and release, unless otherwise noted.
Seasonal Campers
- Construction of awnings and porches
must be pre-approved by management.
- External antennae must be pre-approved
by management.
- Park models must have patio skirting or
screening in good repair.
- Watering of lawns is only permitted
between the hours of 9pm and 5am.
- Second refrigerators and freezers
are subject to an additional fee, payable at the start of the season.

Highview Vacation Campground,
Inc. is not
responsible for any loss due to fire, theft, accident or any act beyond our
control. This campground is private property. Any guest found destroying or
damaging campground property will be expected to make restitution.
Violations of any of these rules or unreasonable / objectionable conduct is
cause for termination on tenancy or visit. We reserve the exclusive right to
make decisions in such matters. In addition, management reserves the
right to change the rules and rates as may be required. |
